There is interplay of going and coming, dying and living which all points toward the salvific act of God. While people avoid death, Simeon prays for it; while people desire grave for treasures (as ancient graves have), Simeon desires grave for the true treasure – eternal life; and as Simeon was inspired to offer his life to God, the Messiah offers his life for humanity.
