The key to being rich and successful is not by the material inheritance one has but by one’s conviction and motivation to work hard in order to sustain, earn and enjoy the richness life offers them. Yes it’s true that some people need not toil hard to find better opportunities, while others have to wait patiently and work painstakingly to get a shot, but everybody is equal when it comes to ‘doing something to make one’s life happy and worth living.' If the saying ‘practice makes perfect’ works most of the time, ‘living life to its fullest, as a precious gift from Above, makes all the hard works and waiting worth it.’

I knew a couple who were born to wealthy families, materially and figuratively. People around them thought that just because their parents are rich that they will easily get the comfort of life when they decided to settle down. It’s tempting to agree with them. But both of them and their respective parents knew better. They started from scratch – a really humble beginning; tough and a lot of struggles, and a lot more hard work and commitment. Everything paid off as they sailed through. Today, they are one of the wealthiest or more aptly say ‘blessed’ couples whose humility, kindness, generosity and loving relationships are bigger/larger than their material possessions.

This is not just a story, this is the real ‘gold’ and ‘jade’ that we should be wishing for.
