Day 4: Achievements in Obstacle

While most of us are still in the holiday mood, Brother Miroslav Sanders, OP has been working on his doctoral dissertation since December last year.  A visit from his provincial superior made it mandatory for him to finish writing his thesis in one year time. Brother Mirek, who is a quick study, is currently doing his doctoral degree in Canon Law and has to be fluent in Italian.
Humble enough to admit that given a short time the principal difficulty in trying to finish his paper is the mastery of language. However, amidst such obstacle, he still manages to envision a noble opportunity to be of greater service to his Province, to the Dominican Order and to the Church. Brother Mirek is very grateful to have been able to finish various tasks he was commissioned to do in the past, which motivates him to submit to such ‘challenging’ process he is undergoing now.

He was born in the south-eastern part of Poland, Grodzisko. An Engineer by profession, Brother Mirek made his solemn vows to the Order of Preachers in April 21, 2006 and was ordained priest in May 19, 2007. He is a member of the Province of Poland and speaks Polish, English and Italian.
